The instructor had done this one too me as well and I just stayed the same speed and just straight up ignored him. Sometimes the instructor will tell you to speed up a little. The posted speed limit on the course is 15 or 20 mph from what I remember. I told him I'm not driving until he does but told me that if i dont start driving, hes gonna fail me so i went on my merry way. This one actually happened to be so i asked him to put his seat belt on 3 times and he just straight up refused all 3 times. Thing is though, he won't put his seat belt on. If you don't then he checks it off that you didn't do it.Īnother thing the instructor will do is, after he gets in and gets all his papers ready, he tells you to start driving. Before you do anything, you have to visually show him that you are checking your mirrors, adjusting your seat, and put on the seat belt, even if you already did all that before he gets into the car. The instructor will get into your car, get his papers ready and then ask you to start driving. I took the test back in 08 so it might be different now with lots of cars coming with electronic ebrakes but thats how it was back then. It cannot be an electronic Ebrake or a foot operated one. The instructor will fail you automatically if you don't have a hand brake. Anyways, there were a lot of sketchy things some of the instructors would do but luckily I knew most of them.
